Just as Cobra’s Aerojet drivers come in three versions, the Aerojet FW comes in the same three versions – Aerojet LS, Aerojet and Aerojet Max. All three share technologies, but there are three different fairway woods for three different types of shots and players. Aerojet Max FW is the most forgiving fairway club of the three, and it can also be set to a draw mode.

Description
Two movable weights – 12 and 3 grammes – are positioned at the very back and towards the heel. Placing the heavy weight towards the heel makes it easier to hit a draw or straighten a slice, and placing the heavy weight at the back gives you an extremely forgiving driver. All edges have been rounded to improve aerodynamics, and the low profile makes it easy to access the ball. The face is completely new and is called Pwrshell H.O.T-Face. It’s forged for the best feel, but it’s also forged with an angle at the bottom to create better speed on low hits. The back of the face has been shaped using AI technology to give similar values of ball speed and spin at 15 points across the face. All to maximise your distance. Inside the head, Cobra has placed a weight at the bottom and near the face to get more mass right behind the ball and thus increase ball speed. The special thing about this weight – Pwr Bridge – is that it is not attached to either the sole or the face, which allows the face to flex over a larger surface, making the club more forgiving. Carbon fibre in the crown frees up weight which can be placed where it has a greater impact instead, increasing ball speed and making the club more forgiving.
With the MyFly hosel, the head can be set to ± 1.5° in loft and also to a draw setting, a total of eight different positions. If you buy this Cobra club, you can order free Arccos sensors using a QR code on the clubs. Then you’ll have sensors for your entire set so that, with the Arccos Caddie app, you can automatically collect data from every shot on the course, generating lots of useful statistics about your game’s strengths and weaknesses.
