Description
The centre of gravity in SM11 is positioned to generate a controlled and penetrating ball flight. This makes it easier to hit lower, more precise shots – even with an open face – and gives you better control over both spin and stop. The new Vokey Spin System is developed for spin control rather than maximum spin. The grooves are adapted to loft and shot type to effectively displace moisture and dirt, grip the ball and create the right amount of spin in every situation. The result is a range of wedges that delivers consistent performance and helps you hit precisely the shots you envision before you. With multiple sole grinds and bounce options, you’re sure to find a combination that suits your swing, the shots you want to hit and the surfaces you play on. The right sole grind helps the club guide towards a consistent strike point, which is crucial for both distance control and feel.
F-Grind is a traditional sole designed for full-swing wedge shots and provides high forgiveness and improved confidence. M-Grind offers an ideal balance between bounce and versatility, perfect for playing in and around the greens. S-Grind is a tapered sole with a sharpened back edge that provides faster ground contact and great versatility in varying conditions. D-Grind is developed for players with steeper attack angles and for softer surfaces where deep divots are taken. K-Grind is a very forgiving sole for specific conditions and is available with both high and low bounce, while T-Grind is a more specialised sole grind, where the wedge lies close to the ground.
Deeper Spin Milled-Grooves, All grooves are now 5 percent larger in volume to remove more dirt and maintain spin even in the rough and in wet weather.New grooves are the secret to the sharpest possible short game. All wedges will wear over time, but the heat-treated grooves make Vokey wedges twice as durable.
