The new Speed Wrapped Core technology delivers a half club length increase while providing a softer sound profile and improved feel. With the TP5X you can expect powerful and precision shots, while maintaining outstanding control around the green. The progressive five-piece construction optimises spin separation between driver/long iron (reduced spin) and wedges (increased spin), resulting in smoother ball flight and increased precision. Designed to match the ball’s finish, the urethane cover not only gives an aesthetically pleasing look, but also makes the ball feel like new for longer. The new shell, available in both white on white and yellow on yellow, is made from an innovative urethane material that matches the ball’s finish for a long-lasting sense of novelty. If you compare TP5 and TP5X, the X model gives higher launch and increased distance with a fixed feel of impact, while the regular model has its advantages in additional spin at the short game and a slightly softer feel of impact.
White - Yellow - Pix, TaylorMade TP5 and TP5X are manufactured in three different colour options. The white classic ball, a yellow version with reinforced urethane cover which means that the golf ball becomes lighter and therefore easier to recognise, as well as a white ball with Pix pattern. The Pix pattern has ClearPath Alignment which gives you direct feedback on how the ball moves, something that is extra useful when putting.
