Description
Qi4D is based on an advanced multi-material construction where a 450 steel head is combined with an ultra-light carbon fibre crown. This makes the club stable, easy to accelerate and designed to deliver the high, controlled ball flight required to land softly on the green. The construction is also designed to give you more versatility in your game – whether you’re hitting from the tee, fairway or rough.
An adjustable 8-gram Trajectory Adjustment System weight lets you customise ball flight, spin and swing weight, while a loft sleeve with 3° adjustment allows you to fine tune loft, lie and face angle. Together, they give you the freedom to adjust the club to suit your swing and your intended shot distances.
By combining a lightweight carbon fibre crown with the strategically placed weight, engineers have been able to optimise the centre of gravity for an iron-like feel and high accuracy. Thanks to advanced CAD design, the club also produces a clean and powerful sound that enhances TaylorMade’s characteristic response.
Twist Face, Twist Face differs from traditional face designs and has been developed to reduce side spin and give straighter shots. This is done by adding some curvature to the face, so that contacts outside the sweet spot roll in towards the middle.
Speed Pocket, A technology like TaylorMade but which has now been further refined and is a pocket placed just behind the face to maintain ball speed and correct spin on hits far down the face.
