Description
ZXiR is cast in the new material i-Alloy, a softer steel that gives you the characteristic Srixon feel with every hit. On the back of the face, the Mainframe technology is at work, with milled recesses optimising COR to generate higher ball speed and longer shots – even on hits outside the sweet spot.
The club also features Srixon’s patented Tour VT sole, designed in a V shape that allows the head to slide more cleanly through the grass. This means that the club loses less speed through impact and is less affected by the ground, which helps you get a more consistent ball start and better control. Together, these technologies produce an iron that combines distance, forgiveness and a distinctly soft feel at impact.
Tour VT Sole, For the first time ever, Srixon has included its popular Tour VT sole on all ZXi Utilities, along with a bevel on the front edge. This unique combination of sole thickness, bounce angles and profile is designed to provide an effective glide through the grass without losing speed.
Progressive Grooves, The grooves are optimised for each individual club. In the longer irons, the distance between the grooves is greater to create optimal launch and in the short irons, the laser-milled grooves are closer together and produce spin and stop control.
