Description
Newport Plus follows the Plus concept, where a slightly wider construction than a traditional Newport gives a more stable face while MOI (Moment of Inertia) increases for reduced twisting at impact. Chain-link milling on the face contributes to a smoother ball roll and a distinctive feel at impact. The integrated sole plate in 6061 aircraft aluminium makes it possible to distribute weight against the putter’s edges, which improves balance and keeps the putter stable throughout the stroke. The design is adapted for players who want a blade putter with more forgiving and stable behaviour, without compromising on the clean sightline and control.
Studio Carbon Steel (SCS), The precision milled carbon steel insert gives a characteristically soft sound and feel at impact. To meet modern requirements, it has been equipped with an electroless nickel plating that contributes to better durability.
Chain-Link Face Milling, This technology reduces the contact points between ball and putter insert through a structured surface that dampens the sound and produces the rolling properties preferred on tour. At the same time, feel and feedback are preserved at impact.
