Description
Newport 2 is one of Scotty Cameron’s most iconic models, and the latest version has been further refined with small but significant details. The face has an insert in Studio Carbon Steel (SCS), which gives a soft but distinct feel at impact. The new chain-link milling contributes to a cleaner ball roll straight from the club. The design is inspired by the putters used on tour, with a slightly wider topline and a precision-milled tri-sole design, which allows the putter to lie flat against the ground at address. The characteristic I-beam plumbing neck provides a balanced toe rotation, making Newport 2 suitable for golfers with a slightly arched stroke. Aesthetically, the putter has all the details that made Newport 2 a favourite – the signature red cherry dots, the engraved 7 Point Crown and an elegant matt brushed finish that reduces reflections in sunlight. Adjustable tungsten weights in the sole give a stable feel and the ability to adapt the weight according to playing style and green conditions. Like other models in the Studio Style range, the Newport 2 is precision milled in the USA from 303 stainless steel for an uncompromising combination of craftsmanship and performance.
