Description
Catalina is precision milled from a single piece of 303 stainless steel and has a Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert in the face. Chain-link milling produces a smooth and predictable ball roll, while the wider profile compared to a traditional blade putter produces a higher MOI (Moment of Inertia), which reduces twisting at impact. With a mid-bend shaft, pointing straight along the sightline, Catalina is close to face-balanced, which is suitable for players who prefer a more neutral putting stroke without vigorous rotation in the blade. The clean sole plate-free construction gives an unobstructed view of the putter’s leading edge at address, making it easier to aim and hold the line throughout the stroke.
Studio Carbon Steel (SCS), The precision milled carbon steel insert gives a characteristically soft sound and feel at impact. To meet modern requirements, it has been equipped with an electroless nickel plating that contributes to better durability.
Chain-Link Face Milling, This technology reduces the contact points between ball and putter insert through a structured surface that dampens the sound and produces the rolling properties preferred on tour. At the same time, feel and feedback are preserved at impact.
