JPX 919 Hot Metal is made from chromium molybdenum steel (Chromoly 4140M) which is a very strong and flexible material that allows for a thin face with variable thickness. This results in a hotter face with higher ball speeds and better feel. Combined with a seamless club head construction, this maximises ball speed and produces more distance. Mizuno’s Stability Frame technology with a frame behind the face which is open at the heel gives more stability and more consistent ball flight. Refined “Sound Ribs” inside the club head optimise vibrations at impact and create better feel.
The centre of gravity in the head is placed as low and deep as possible which, combined with more modern loft, results in a forgiving club with high ball flight and maximum distance. Chrome plating with a new, matte and more durable Pearl Brush finish which counteracts reflections from sunlight.
