Building on the same advanced stability technology as other OPTM models, the OPTM X Fairway is one of the first fairway clubs to optimise both MOI and POI. It reduces gear effect and rotation on off-centre hits, resulting in straighter shots and tighter dispersion. The mass is symmetrically placed around the centre of gravity to improve stability and produce a more predictable result even when contact is not perfect.
The FutureFit33 hosel gives you access to 33 different loft and lie settings, and the SmartPad design keeps the face square regardless of the adjustment. The adjustable weight system consists of two weights (11 g and 3 g), where the 11-gram weight can be placed at the back for a higher launch angle and more forgiving performance, or in the toe for a lower launch and less spin. The result is a fairway wood that combines speed, control and confidence – from both the tee and the fairway.
FutureFit33, Cobra’s proprietary FutureFit33 adaptor offers 33 unique settings for loft and lie, providing more customisation options than ever before. For the first time, the loft and lie can be adjusted independently by +/- 2 degrees, allowing for an even more precise and tailored setting without changing the angle of the club head.
