Description
Based on the same basic technology as other OPTM models, the OPTM X is one of the first drivers to optimise both MOI and POI. By reducing rotation on hits outside the sweet spot, the club can deliver up to 23% tighter dispersion. The slightly larger head shape gives a stable feel and a good balance between distance, precision and forgiving performance.
The mass is carefully distributed around the centre of gravity to reduce gear effect and improve impact stability. Using the FutureFit33 hosel, you can adjust the loft and lie using 33 different combinations to tailor the ball flight, while the SmartPad design keeps the face square in all settings. The OPTM X has two adjustable weights (11 g and 3 g) that can be placed in the back or toe position to influence the trajectory and create neutral or fade bias. The forged face with H.O.T Face technology contributes to high ball speed and consistent distance even when contact is not completely centred.
FutureFit33, Cobra’s proprietary FutureFit33 adaptor offers 33 unique settings for loft and lie, providing more customisation options than ever before. For the first time, the loft and lie can be adjusted independently by +/- 2 degrees, allowing for an even more precise and tailored setting without changing the angle of the club head.
