OPTM Max-K is the first driver to combine 13K three-axis MOI with a reduced POI value – a technological milestone that has produced the most stable driver on the market. Optimising both MOI and POI dramatically reduces rotation on off-centre hits, resulting in up to 23% tighter dispersion and significantly straighter shots. The mass is symmetrically distributed around the centre of gravity to create a stable club that counteracts gear effect and holds the shot line better.
There are many fitting options due to the FutureFit33 hosel, which offers 33 different loft and lie settings while the SmartPad design ensures the face stays square. A fixed 11-gram rear weight places the centre of gravity low and far back to maximise stability and forgiveness. The forged face with H.O.T Face technology contributes high ball speeds and good distance even when contact is not perfect. The result is a driver that gives you more playable shots, greater confidence and a smoother ball flight throughout.
FutureFit33, Cobra’s proprietary FutureFit33 adaptor offers 33 unique settings for loft and lie, providing more customisation options than ever before. For the first time, the loft and lie can be adjusted independently by +/- 2 degrees, allowing for an even more precise and tailored setting without changing the angle of the club head.
