Description
OPTM Max-D is Cobra’s most pronounced draw-driver and is based on advanced optimisation of both MOI and POI to reduce club head rotation on hits outside the sweet spot. The result is up to 23% tighter dispersion and significantly straighter shots. By placing a fixed weight in the heel, the centre of gravity moves closer to the hosel, making it easier to close the club head and get the ball to start and curve more to the left. The combination of high stability, low POI and clear draw bias provides extra support for those who want to counteract slice.
With the FutureFit33 hosel, loft and lie can be fine-tuned using 33 different settings, while the SmartPad design keeps the face square regardless of adjustment. The construction with symmetrical mass distribution around the centre of gravity reduces gear effect and gives a smoother ball flight. The forged face with H.O.T Face technology increases ball speed over larger parts of the face, which gives good distance even when contact is not perfect.
FutureFit33, Cobra’s proprietary FutureFit33 adaptor offers 33 unique settings for loft and lie, providing more customisation options than ever before. For the first time, the loft and lie can be adjusted independently by +/- 2 degrees, allowing for an even more precise and tailored setting without changing the angle of the club head.
