Description
MIM Sport 40 is part of Cobra’s MIM range, where the entire putter head is manufactured with Metal Injection Moulding – a technology that moulds steel under high pressure to provide consistent quality and detailed precision. The face has a Pebax insert in combination with LA Golf Descending Loft Technology, which gives a softer feel and a consistent roll, even if you hit the ball slightly upward or downward.
Its subtle, classic design has a dark grey matte-treated head that minimises glare. The narrow sightlines – or in some cases only a sight dot – are suitable for players who prefer to aim using the face rather than marked lines.
The model has a Plumber Neck and 40° toe drop, which makes it ideal for players with an arched putting stroke who want a putter that follows the swing naturally and gives a responsive feel through impact.
LA GOLF's Descending Loft Technology, Cobra utilises this technology developed by LA Golf. This means that the putter’s face has been divided into four different zones with different lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°). This means that no matter what attack angle you have down to the ball, you will hit with the same loft every time, which improves distance control on the greens.
