PWR-COR, Just like the LTDx drivers, FW and hybrids, the irons have been equipped with PWR-COR technology to place weight where it has the greatest impact. As with previous generations, there’s lots of mass in the toe, heel and sole to make the club forgiving and produce a high trajectory. What makes the LTDx different is the horizontal floating weight held in foam right behind the sweet spot. Extra mass directly behind the ball produces higher ball speed, and with a floating solution, the face is allowed to flex which also gives it added ball speed. This innovation leads to much longer shots.
Flexible face, Cobra have placed a heavy “floating” steel weight far down towards the sole and just behind the face. The weight is enclosed in hard foam to keep it in place, and this construction allows the face to flex like on a driver while having weight directly behind the sweet spot.
