Description
Supernova is part of Cobra’s third generation of 3DP Tour putters and is based on a 3D printed nylon core that moves weight out into the corners to increase MOI and provide a distinct, stable ball start. This year’s model also uses an MIM manufactured head whereby steel is cast under high pressure to create consistent quality and detailed precision. The face is milled using LA Golf Descending Loft Technology, producing a smooth roll whether you make contact slightly upward or downward.
The champagne-coloured finish combines with clear white sight lines that go all the way to the face, making it easy to align the putter and ensure confidence over the ball. With its fang design, Supernova is a very forgiving mallet putter. Being completely face balanced, it’s suitable for players who have a straight or almost straight putting stroke and want a stable putting motion throughout the shot.
LA GOLF's Descending Loft Technology, Cobra utilises this technology developed by LA Golf. This means that the putter’s face has been divided into four different zones with different lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°). This means that no matter what attack angle you have down to the ball, you will hit with the same loft every time, which improves distance control on the greens.
