The new improved lightweight metal core has unlocked many design knots and makes this wedge the most technical in Cleveland Golf’s history. By mixing a lightweight metal into the hosel/heel, Cleveland can free up weight and reposition it where actually needed in the club head. This increases the club head’s MOI at impact, increases spin and improves control wherever you hit the blade. The new HydraZip technology increases spin in all weather conditions. This wedge is suitable for all types of golfers but is primarily designed for the intermediate golfer. Why play a blade wedge when a toe and heel wedge could make your short game easier?
Zipcore, Entirely new technology in which a core made of lightweight metal has been inserted into the hosel/heel, freeing up weight from where it’s not required and moving it to places in the head where it’s really needed. This prevents the wedge from rotating during the shot, increases spin and improves control in every type of shot. This technology has been improved on the new CBX4.
HydraZip, This is a mix of two new technologies, a new dynamic sandblasting and a new oblique laser milling, both of which increase spin from all positions and in all weather conditions.
New UltiZip grooves, There are more grooves than before, and they’re closer together, sharper and deeper. Along with the patented laser milling on the face, this makes them Cleveland’s best ever grooves.
